Mariele is an award winning audio director, producer and casting director and a proud member of the Casting Director's Guild.

After training as an actor at East 15, Mariele founded audio drama production company Wireless Theatre in 2007, because of her love for audio acting. What started as a small enterprise, quickly grew into a bold and respected audio production company known for top quality production values, buzzing live recordings, providing opportunities for new writers and actors and pushing the boundaries of experimental audio drama creation at a time when independent fiction podcasts were not 'a thing'.

In 2017 Mariele begun working at Audible and is now a Director of Production and Casting; leading the production and casting of their audio drama slate. At Audible, Mariele is proud to have cast and produced over 200 hugely exciting drama titles including all of Neil Gaiman and Dirk Maggs' series The Sandman, Sam Mendes' Oliver Twist and David Copperfield, Jed Mercurio's Zoetrope,  Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds, Crush Hour: A Musical with Universal Music, the upcoming Slayers, A Buffyverse Story with Wayland Productions, and many, many more.
